Misty Glass

Windows become foggy or ‘Misty’ when the temperature between the inside window is different to the outside, similar to when a liquid comes into touch with a cooler surface, making water vapour visible.

When the desiccant in the spacer bars becomes sodden, it is unable to remove moisture from the air gap between the panes of a double-glazed window and therefore creates a ‘Misty’ window.

At Savoy Sash Windows we remove existing windows and replace them with new.
